Fluence horticulture experts, researchers and partners to host webinars exploring how to optimize supplemental lighting strategies in greenhouse environmentsAUSTIN, Texas (Junio 23, 2021)—Fluence by OSRAM (Fluence), a leading global provider of energy-efficient LED lighting solutions for commercial cannabis and food production, today announced it will host a summer webinar series for Canadian greenhouse cultivators in collaboration with Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers (OGVG). The monthly series provides an opportunity for growers to learn about horticulture supplemental lighting directly from Fluence’s experts and partners.

The four-part webinar series begins this month and concludes in Septiembre. Sessions will highlight LED lighting trends and research, guiding growers with small- to large-scale facilities to optimize supplemental lighting strategies in their cultivation environments. Fluence’s experts and participating partners from OGVG and the horticulture industry will delve into topics such as modern greenhouse high-wire crop production for tomatoes and cucumbers, the role of light spectra in pest management, and insights about Ontario’s utility rebate process.

“We’re thrilled to partner with OGVG this summer to share Fluence’s research and knowledge with growers in Canada,” said Ron DeKok, Fluence’s senior vice president of sales for North America. “Our team is committed to understanding the interaction between light and life and to deliver insights that will enable growers to expand their own lighting expertise and achieve their cultivation goals with LED technology.”
