“Fluence didn’t just sell us lights and walk away. The aftercare and service were the biggest reasons we chose them. We pushed and pushed for the right plan, and Fluence stood by our side every step of the way.”
“Working with Linsboer has been exceptional. Their commitment to consistency, quality, and disciplined cultivation made it easy for us to design a lighting strategy that supports both their immediate production goals and their long-term vision. They’re setting a new standard for what Dutch indoor cannabis can be.”
Linsboer is one of the Netherlands’ pioneering licensed cannabis producers participating in the country’s closed-chain supply trial. Founded by lifelong cannabis advocates with deep roots in the coffeeshop culture, Linsboer blends passion, authenticity, and scientific precision inside a high-performance indoor cultivation facility. With ten sealed flower rooms and the infrastructure to scale to twenty, Linsboer selected Fluence to provide the lighting backbone for its 6,000-fixture buildout—prioritizing aftercare, service, and tunable, high-intensity performance. Early results show exceptional terpene levels, clean test data, and strong market demand for flagship cultivars like Haze Monkey.
Operating within one of Europe’s most tightly regulated cannabis programs, Linsboer built its facility to deliver consistent, high-quality flower while meeting strict track-and-trace and testing requirements. Every plant, batch, and harvest cycle is monitored through the Dutch government’s closed supply chain, placing a premium on reliability and precision at every stage of cultivation. Inside the facility’s sealed indoor rooms, the team controls key environmental variables—including CO₂, irrigation, and lighting intensity—to ensure consistent plant performance and repeatable results across cultivars.
Fluence lighting plays a central role in that strategy. By enabling the cultivation team to precisely adjust PPFD throughout the growth cycle and dial lighting levels to each cultivar’s needs, the system supports both yield optimization and terpene preservation. Combined with Linsboer’s disciplined cultivation practices and consumer-focused genetics selection, the result is a facility capable of producing premium cannabis at scale while maintaining the consistency required in a tightly regulated market.

Linsboer entered the Dutch legal market facing challenges far beyond traditional commercial cultivation. Every step of their process—from mother plant to retail shelf—is monitored through a government-mandated track-and-trace system. A single batch failure could carry significant financial consequences. At the same time, the facility’s design created additional complexity: sealed flower rooms operating under elevated CO₂, each requiring high-intensity, uniform lighting and predictable performance. And because Linsboer produces Dutch classics that consumers expect to be perfect, the team needed the capability to fine-tune each cultivar with precision, ensuring consistent structure, terpene preservation, and flower quality across every room.
Fluence fixtures gave Linsboer the flexibility, power, and control required to dial in each cultivar’s recipe. Their ability to tune PPFD throughout the growth cycle—introducing high intensity early, ramping upward through week five, and tapering toward finish—allowed the team to maximize yield without compromising terpene expression or flavor. Early batches have demonstrated strong terpene percentages, high THC values, and exceptionally clean microbial test results. Market response has been overwhelmingly positive, with the first runs of Haze Monkey selling out rapidly and additional rooms dedicated to meet demand. Just as important, Fluence provided extensive aftercare throughout planning, design, and commissioning, supporting Linsboer through every lighting plan revision and optimization.
