The leading lighting provider will present at GreenTech Amsterdam and Mary Jane Berlin in June 2025

AUSTIN, Texas & EINDHOVEN, Netherlands (3 June 2025)Fluence, a leading global provider of energy-efficient LED lighting solutions for commercial cannabis production, will return to GreenTech Amsterdam and Mary Jane Berlin, two of Europe’s largest B2B cannabis events. The company will showcase its latest lighting innovations and bring its valuable cultivation expertise to multiple speaking engagements at both conferences.

At GreenTech Amsterdam (10-12 June), Dr. Sabrina Carvalho, Fluence’s cannabis research and plant specialist for EMEA, will lead a session on light dynamics and advances in cannabis cultivation. Dr. Carvalho’s session will take place on 10 June at 13:00 CET on the Medicinal Plants Stage.

At Mary Jane Berlin (19-22 June), Fluence business development manager Theo Tekstra will explore the future of legal cannabis in Germany, while Dr. Carvalho will discuss global developments for the future of cannabis. Catch Tekstra’s session on 20 June at 17:45 CET and Dr. Carvalho’s on 21 June at 14:45 CET.

“The cannabis landscape across Europe is evolving at an incredible pace, and events like GreenTech and Mary Jane provide essential opportunities for our industry to come together,” Dr. Carvalho said. “I look forward to connecting with growers who are shaping the future of this industry and sharing some of the latest lighting approaches that are driving innovation in cannabis cultivation.”

As the European cannabis market is expected to more than double in size over the next few years, with a projected value of 2.9 billion euros by 2029, knowledge-sharing platforms that help cultivators stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies are crucial.

“We’re seeing a maturing European market, where new legalization efforts are driving a strong demand for knowledge and expertise in developing efficient production facilities,” Tekstra said. “At the same time, in more established markets, the replacement of HPS systems, facility expansions and LED upgrades are creating a dynamic environment open to change. In these evolving conditions, our broad experience and network of specialized partners help our customers make well-informed, strategic decisions.”

Fluence will also showcase the latest fixtures in its VYPR, SPYDR and RAPTR portfolios. Attendees can visit the Fluence team at booth 01.517 at GreenTech Amsterdam and booth PA12 at Mary Jane Berlin to explore the company’s latest LED lighting innovations designed specifically for indoor and greenhouse cannabis cultivation.
